Nuances cover for the month of April.
Nuances, known as Staishia in Japanese, is the in-game fashion magazine available in Style Savvy and Style Savvy: Trendsetters. Felicity is the editor and reporter.
Style Savvy[]
Each Nuances magazine includes the cover and 3 pages of short articles that will include trends for the season and/or month. The pages are normally arranged in order of cover, a dedicated brand page, a page dedicated to a specific article of clothing, and lastly a character feature page. The player will receive an edition of the magazine from Grace at the beginning of every month.
If the player wins the International Contest, Felicity will visit the player and give their boutique an opportunity to be featured in the next edition of Nuances. The player will style an outfit for the cover model, as well as select two articles of clothing to be featured on a dedicated page. Several customers will specifically request the highlighted items after the magazine is published. The player can only receive a magazine feature once a month.
Grace writes an article in the magazine that talks about upcoming trends, featured on the last page and titled "Style Tips From Grace". Several other characters, such as Libby and Rococo are featured in several editions as well.
Style Savvy: Trendsetters[]
There are 5 sections of Nuances: Rococco's Raves, Street Snaps, Get It First, Makeup Tips, and Must-Have Hair.
Teagan is the photographer for Nuances, and she will sometimes take your photo for the next issue. This is marked as an exclamation point on the map. If you win a fashion contest at the Contest Hall you appear on the next cover of Nuances.
Street Snaps[]
Street Snaps features photos of local outfits taken by Teagan. The models featured are the customers that appear at your boutique. These outfits can be bought directly from Nuances. Also, you may appear in Street Snaps if Teagan takes your photo on the map. This event occurs randomly.
Makeup Tips[]
Makeup Tips features a recommended makeup set for different styles. Unlike Street Snaps, the makeup cannot be bought directly from the magazine and you cannot be featured in the section.
Must-Have Hair[]
Must-Have Hair features a recommended hairstyle for the season. The player cannot be featured in this section.
Rococco's Raves[]
Rococco will write a comment based on your recent contest performance at the Contest Hall. If you won a contest recently, your photo will be featured here.
Get It First![]
Get It First! features new upcoming items for the season. These items will be new to the season so you will have the opportunity to buy these items first directly from Nuances.
